Micromax recently announced their new phone “Micromax Canvas Infinity”. Micromax is a well known mobile company in India and they served their products in India, Pakistan, Russia, and more countries. The new Canvas Infinity comes with 5.7 inches(720*1440) IPS LCD Capacitive display. Screen capacity is 279 pixel per inch. This phone has 18:9 aspect ratio which is available in only on high-end smartphones like Samsung galaxy, LG, nubia.
The phone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat and The good news is Micromax Canvas Infinity has planned to upgrade Android 8.0 Oreo which is the latest version of Android OS. Chipset is Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 and Quad-core 1.4 GHz Cortex processor. Now days, fingerprint scanner is necesseties for any Android smartphone, this phone has a rear mounted fingerprint scanner and battery power is 2900mAh. The battery is removable Li-Ion but fast-charing isn’t supported for the device.
Canvas Infinity Is really worthy in low-budget for Indian users ?. Here are some good and bad things about Micromax Canvas Infinity.

Good and Bad Things about Micromax Canvas Infinity

Believe or not, Screen is the best thing what makes the phone outstanding. The phone is the similar to the LG Q6 screen which has edge-to-edge display. Micromax has launched Rs.9,999 Canvas Infinity with 5.7 inches 18:9 aspect ratio screen. There are already LG and Samsung in market that each has a high-ratio screen. But In low budget only Canvas Infinity gives us the same high ratio display. This is not that Micromax giving us a huge screen smartphone in low budget, the phone really does not feels quite as big. The phone has IPS LCD Capacitive 5.7 inches display of 720*1440 pixel and ~279 ppi pixel density. The display isn’t protected by any scratch protector.

Micromax Canvas Infinity powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor that isn’t high enough. If we compare it with the Redmi Note 4 which has Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 chipset and here Canvas Infinity is behind to Redmi Note 4. The phone is available in 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage variant. Memory expendable upto 128 GB. Overall, here we get a rear mounted fingerprint scanner. The phone has these following sensors.

Operating system and User Interface
Canvas Infinity doesn’t carry any UI name and the UI isn’t good enough, but it comes with some cool features.
Double tap to awake, what’s new here? The same feature is available in a phone Lava Iris X1 Atom which comes in Rs.4,444 only.
Double tap to lock the canvas infinity and flip the phone to sleep and mute. We get smart gesture, draw an alphabet to open an app. You can receive a phone call by bringing the phone to your ear. Overall, the features aren’t unique.
The phone runs on Android 7.1 Nougat. Micromax promised that Android 8.0 Oreo will be available soon for this device. They are offering good OS but UI isn’t good enough.
Here, we get good thing of Micromax Canvas Infinity. The phone comes with a 13 MP rear and 16 MP front camera. Both cameras of this phone is pretty good. Primary camera comes with 13 MP along with a flash. 16 MP front camera also comes with flash. It comes with f/2.0 aperture, ‘bokeh’ effects, face beauty and blur effects. Low-light performance of both camera is same.

In this article i’ve written some good and bad things about Micromax Canvas Infinity. In my opinion, this phone comes with good features and a huge display and great selfie camera but UI, battery, and processor isn’t good enough. You should not buy this device if you want a flagship smartphone but in low-budget this phone is good enough.
